Just the thought of baking for Christmas, I swear I can already smell the snickerdoodles and the russian tea cakes cooking in the kitchen oven! Baking is one of those annual traditions we carry out with the girls in the family. While the boys sit there taking pride in eating the sweet goods with a large glass of almond milk.
Baking cookies is a time honored tradition for many households. So here are a few of my favorite bakeware items to tis the season in the kitchen.
- KitchenAid Stand (Artisan) Mixer
- Vintage Christmas Potholder Set
- Kitchen Elements Silicone Baking Mat
- Wilton Holiday Grippy Cookie Cutters
- Wilton 6 Color Christmas Sprinkles
- Easy Flex 3-Piece Silicone Spatula Set
- Ganz Cupcake Measuring Spoons
- Non-Stick 3-Tier Cooling Rack
- Williams-Sonoma Baking Gift Set

Ah yes, there is nothing quite like the smell of snickerdoodles baking in the over, right before Christmas

Love the “dramatic Kiah”
Have you ever heard of Mexican Chocolate Snickerdoodles? There is a vegan version at PPK (Post Punk Kitchen). I am thinking about trying those out this year. The smell of chocolate is just as good. LOL.

I’m not sure how I lived without my Kitchen Aid before I got it a few years ago!
You’re from Riverside (according to your FB page)! Me too! Well, Corona, but I just jumped cities a few months ago.

Hey Christine, Nice to have a neighbor blogger. Nhershoes is in the neighborhood, too. And Skinny Runner and RunEatRepeat are in the OC.
We should hook up sometime. Maybe at a 5K or something (although take note, I am not a fast runner – yet).
Good luck on the LV marathon. Oh ya… getting a good wind this morning/last night?

Holiday baking is my favorite! I would kill for that KitchenAid mixer! Divine!

Hey Molly. I wish I had the Artisan mixer. I am loving the glass bowl. I have a standard KitchenAid mixer that I got on a Black Friday a few years back. Its in charming mellow yellow. But mixes great despite its color.
So what are you baking and sending me this holiday? LOL.

Hi Christine!
My sister lives in Chicago so we wait for her to come home for Christmas and spend Christmas Eve at my mom’s house decorating sugar cookies and gingerbread men. It’s my most favorite day of the holiday!
Btw, I could never survive cookie baking without my Williams Sonoma cookie sheets. They are simply amazing!
How fun! Never made gingerbread men. I think it would be fun to decorate them. Have a good time when your sister comes home!
