Wow, I just tried #12, the Spinach Blueberry Almond Butter smoothie and it was incredibly good. I substituted almond milk for the goat’s milk and used frozen spinach and a teeny bit of sweetener (but it probably could go without). My 11-year-old son thought it looked “yucky” but tasted it and wanted the whole thing. It’s our new favorite smoothie…and we drink a lot of smoothies!

My favorite Green Smoothie Recipe that I’ve been using every morning for the last 5 years:
Ingredients:
2 large chard leaves
handful of spinach
1 banana
1/2 apple
1/4 cup frozen or fresh berries of choice
1/2 cup orange juice or water
3 tablespoons Raw Organic Whey protein (www.raworganicwhey.com)
Bend it all in a blender and it’s an amazing way to start the day.
Love chard. But have yet to try it in a smoothie. Thank you for the recipe!

just tried my first green drink,didn’t have much to use,
so I put lettuce,green pepper,cucumber,kiwi,yogurt,water,milk,hemp hearts,vanilla and twin!!
that’s all i had in the fridge anyone have anything better!
Sounds fantastic. Love hemp hearts. And I am fond of using red leaf lettuce in my smoothies.
