Apples, Pumpkins, and Halloween make me So Happy! I have the pumpkin candle burning in the house. Poured the 3 big bags of good candy in the bowl. Getting ready to do some last minute decorating to surprise my daughter when she gets home.
But before I start decorating I had to make up a scrumptious bowl of Apple Pie Oatmeal with Coach’s Oats. It was an inspiration the Oatmeal cookbook. It was so good (yummy and delicious) and I truly believe using Coach’s Oats sealed the deal for this bowl. Now it’s time to go buy me a big bag of this stuff.
- Coach’s Oats
- a Microwaved Baked Jonathan Apple
- Vanilla extract
- Pumpkin Pie spice (cuz I didn’t have Apple Pie spice)
- chopped pecans
- sprinkle of brown sugar
- big handful of raisins
- dollop of plain vanilla yogurt
- drizzle sugar & cinnamon from the baked apple
The side of Starbuck’s Chai Latte was a nice addition, too.
Happy Halloween!

Luckily, I haven’t received any tricks today.

Only more treats! My Moo Mini Cards came in the mail. Yeah!

They are such cute cards! Thick and sturdy. Don’t you love the back of the cards? I though they were perfect.

Well, I’m off to go decorate. Make Blue Ribbon chili (recipe is really simple and really good – I often omit the hamburger for a vegetarian meal), jalapeno-cheddar cornbread, and pizza (to please the kids). Then we are off to go trick or treating with my sister-in-law and friends. Wishing you all a wonderful & safe Halloween!
Are you trick or treating? Sitting at home watching scary movies? What are your fun plans for tonight?

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

I love the microwave baked apple recipe from Simply Recipes. Take a few minutes to make. But I will tell ya, it was the perfect addition to this oatmeal. Glad you are feeling better
Don’t know if I will ever use the cards, but they are sooo cute.

Love the moo mini cards. The oatmeal looks delicious!
I actually tried to get them as a Klout perk, but was too late. But they were so cute, I ordered them anyway.
Thanks for stopping by!
