Body for Life Progress

Last night I was wiped out tired. I’m probably still recuperating from Crossfit this weekend and my Upper Body workout from Monday. Haha. After running the kids to around to the store for hair products and off to choir practice and back, I finally got to get my workout on! I mean after all it was Abs of Steel night! But before that I cranked out my own 23-minute Tabata. Which I really was not in the mood to do. Once I got it going on it was all good.

Last Night’s 23-min Tabata (5 times each exercise then move onto the next):

30s exercise/10s break. Five times. Repeat with next exercise. Here is a YouTube Tabata Timer on this post for your convenience.

» Jumping Jacks
» Burpees
» Knee Highs
» Mountain Climbers
» Jump Lunges
» Squat Jumps
» Speed Skate Jumps (w/out weight)

For all of you wanting to follow along on the Six-Weeks Abs of Steel with me, I will be working the Abs + Cardio on days:

» Tuesday
» Thursday
» Saturday

Be sure to take those baseline waist and hip measurements so you can compare your results in six-weeks!

I’m only on Body for Life week 7 of 12 but I have some exciting progress news! If you’re pressed for time go to 2:30m and you will see. I will have to update the pictures soon!

Make it a great day! What’s your favorite Gossip or Reality Show?

    • Thank you! I kept retaking the measurements to make sure they were right. haha. As women, we base so much on weight. And the fact I haven’t lost any weight, I didn’t think I made that kind of progress. But, I have noticed my pants fit differently. And the husband tends to throw in awesome comments more often. ;)

  2. Woot!! Way to go, girl!

  3. congrats!! progress progress! inches lost! love the tabata too, ouch. it hurts so good!

  10. I just checked out your first WOD at CrossFit. I just hit my one year mark at CF last week and although it’s expensive ($116 for unlimited at my box), it’s kept my interest much more than any other ‘regular gym’ has. I almost always lose interest after 4 months or so, and it’s become such a routined-quitting habit that I used to try and break 4 months of going to a gym. So, I guess CF is definitely a no-brainer for me. I love it, and I’m addicted. :)

    • Yay! Congrats. I think after I am done with Body for Life in 5 weeks, I will sign up for Crossfit and ditch the gym membership.

So you must be pretty fit then eh? I will hit triumph when I can climb a rope or do an unassisted pull-up. ;)

  11. Great job..inches count more than weight loss…keep up the good work!!
