Hanging with NPC Competitor Jen Aragon at Lorna Jane!
The peeps at Lorna Jane asked me if I would be interested in doing another apparel review for to promo during my marathon training. “Heck ya!”, I said. Okay, I tried to keep my enthusiasm to a contained. But I admit, I was excited! Because I love my Flash Dance Pants (I practically live in them). Because of the short time frame until Marathon day (less than 20 days!), it was better for me to go into the nearest LJ store and attend a styling session. I don’t remember the last time I got to feel like a princess. It was heaven.

Expanding their locations in the USA
BTW, they seem to have a lot more of their product available in store compared to online.
The playground! I ran through all the racks pulling this tank with that short. This matching sports bra. Tshirts. I grabbed a long sleeve with finger holes (fun). And just filled the dressing room with different stuff to try on. It’s funny, I totally dislike clothes shopping. But when it comes to kitchen accessories or workout gear, I’m all over it!
Some of the stuff I wanted to try on!
BTW, they write cool inspirations & motivations on the dressing room mirrors. Totally empowering! And when you try stuff on in the dressing room, tag those Instagram pictures with #ThatFitFeeling
Monday: 2.0 miles and strength training (Oh, how I missed it!)
Tuesday: 4.0 miles “I was not going to let them eat me this time #zombiesrungame” (dailymile)
Wednesday-Friday: 0.0 miles
Saturday: 7.0 miles addicted to zombies run game. okay addicted is a strong word. but its serious motivation.
Sunday: 0.0 but I did get some yoga in. and practiced my Chaturanga Dandasana (its fun to say).
Total Miles: 13.0 miles
Family first. I’ve been dealing with some personal things that have prevented me from getting in the long mileage. And not getting those miles in does worrying me. Especially because I should be logging in 30 miles/week. But then on the other hand, I am ready. From what I am told, it’s 90% mental. I’m banking on it cuz I can be pretty stubborn. Determined to cross that finish line. (And to those of you… you know who you are, thank you for letting me pile all my marathon questions and allowing me to freak out a bit, too).
Oh ya, I’m freaking out because I just discovered there will be a “hill from hell” at mile 15 (I just had to scout around for course info – I should have just remained naive) and some of my extended family are making plans to come up. Plus Lorna Jane made me look beautiful in their fit gear. Now the pressure is on!!!
BTW, I cut my toe nails way down. I’m gonna lose a couple or four. I know it. I probably need another shoe size up, but don’t want to switch my shoe and/or size so close to the day. It doesn’t hurt. So we will just need to lose em toenails this time round! Hey sexy! Wanna see my toes?

Peppa Excel Tank and Marathon short
I loved this tank! Since I wear a high impact sports bra, it peaked out of the top of the tank neckline. And it was more snug than what I wanted to run in. Would be great for a fitness class or the gym. Orange is one of my faves, so I will most likely go back and get this one.
Seriously, the day was awesome. I haven’t had this much fun being a girly girl in a long time. And it made me feel internally beautiful. The experience definitely nourished my psyche.

Lorna Jane provided me with compensation in my marathon active wear to promote during my training. All opinions are my own. Seriously, LJ product is made well. You get what you pay for. Quality. Now, I am styling for my marathon. Even if that means crawling past the finish line.
