Is it really that close to Marathon Day?!?! Cray Cray! But I’m ready for it to happen! Keeping a training schedule is hard! Finding the time to get all the mileage in is not easy when you have an already busy schedule.
Song of the Week: Nothing better than listening to Eminem to get things pumped up.
Monday: Core workout
Tuesday: Gentle Flow Yoga + bicep/shoulder work (I miss lifting!)
Wednesday: 1 Mile + Core Workout
Thursday: 3 Miles Great morning run in horsey land. Got in one good, long hill.
Friday: 3 Miles of Power Walking.
Saturday: Great Group Run – 14 Miles but now inflicted with IT band issues. NOW?! Will it hold out in time for the marathon?! Stay tuned to find out…
It sucks. But I am resting it and will go back to utilizing Jeff Galloway’s run + walk method. Less strain than straight running.
Sunday: Day off! Mental relaxation.
Total Miles: 21
Running on the road is peachy, but I need me some trails! Got Dirt?
Needs to work on: Increasing the mileage
